Overview

Production Operative with a Counterbalance (CB) Forklift License to join our team in the food production industry. Initially focusing on warehouse responsibilities, the role offers progression to milling tasks. This position provides a clear path from temporary to permanent employment with competitive benefits.

Location and Job Details

• Location: IP postcode area
• Job Type: Temp-to-perm, Full-time
• Salary: £12.50 per hour

Day-to-day of the role

• Operate a counterbalance forklift to manage inventory and move materials within the warehouse.
• Handle heavy lifting of 25kg bags, ensuring proper handling and storage.
• Transition to milling operations, learning and taking on more responsibilities over time.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment across three buildings.
• Work a 40-hour week with the potential for overtime at 1.5 times the normal rate.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Valid Counterbalance (CB) Forklift License.
• Experience in a warehouse or production environment, specifically within food production.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 25kg.
• Strong commitment to safety standards and quality control.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Ability to start immediately is highly preferred.
