Production Operative

Location: High Wycombe
Shift: Rotating weekly shifts
Hours: Monday-Friday 6.00am-2.00pm/2.00pm-10.00pm (37.5 hours)
Pay rate: £15.59 rotating shifts
Temporary ongoing.

Our client is a global leader in the development and application of electrically conductive and thermal materials, working within various industries such as Automotive, defence and industrial. The successful Production Operative will ideally have previous production or assembly experience within a manufacturing organisation.

This is a varied and challenging position for the successful candidate, which will draw from a broad range of skills including problem solving, multitasking, teamwork, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities of the Production Operative:

• Check product produced by machine for quality.
• Heavy lifting and manual handling
• Mixing, Testing and Packing, Moulding parts
• Labelling and repackaging of products.
• Prepare all materials that are to be loaded into the machine.
• Make sure all materials are loaded into the machine quickly and efficiently so that downtime is limited.
• Keep the work area clean and tidy.

The ideal Production Operator:

• Experience within a production/manufacturing/warehouse environment is essential.
• Willingness to do overtime.
• Flexibility and willingness to learn new processes and skills.
• The ability to do regular lifting of 20kg bags.
• Good communications skills (both written and verbal)
• Excellent attention to detail
