Job summary

A metal detection manufacturing company based in Banbury is seeking a skilled mechanical assembler for a full-time role. You will work within a small team, responsible for assembling components, marking, drilling stainless steel materials, and maintaining the workshop. Candidates must possess mechanical assembly skills and be experienced with power tools. The working hours are Monday to Friday from 08:45 to 16:45, with opportunities for overtime depending on workload.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical assembly preferred.
• Familiarity with power tools essential.

Job description

Small team of ten working in our Heads team, manufacturing metal detectors for the food/pharma industry. Mechanical assembly of component parts according to customer specification/order. Marking up/drilling stainless steel materials, cutting and assembly of sheet wood. Maintaining workshop area and ensuring clean and tidy.
