My Client, a financial software development firm spun off from a prestigious Hedge Fund is looking for a Production engineer or DevOps engineer to work in their Newcastle office. In this role you will be directly on trading systems, within Market Data feeds and work deep in production environments, in this role you will be leveraging Kubernetes, Azure Cloud and Linux to work on their technical and Versatile systems.

My client is looking for a Production Engineer with who has previous experience in either Production support or DevOps who has a deep technical knowledge in Kubernetes and Linux skills, ideally who has worked on Azure cloud environments who has a collaborative and curious nature.

Responsibilities

• Work directly on trading systems, within Market Data feeds and work deep in production environment.
• Working with the Azure cloud, and assist with migration to Linux - Based systems.
• Deploy and organise Kubernetes clusters and Docker Containers
• Implement and maintain monitoring and observability using the ELK stack

Requirements

• Previous experience in working within either DevOps or Production Engineer fields
• Solid Azure Cloud knowledge and Linux administration experience.
• Expertise in ELK stack for monitoring and alerting.
• Scripting and automation skills (e.g., Bash, Python, Terraform, Ansible).
• Excellent troubleshooting and performance tuning skills in distributed systems.
