Job summary

A leading cruise company in Southampton is seeking a Product Owner for Events & Venue Management systems. The ideal candidate will own product delivery within events, oversee scheduling systems, and drive digital system implementations. Proven experience in Agile processes and excellent communication skills are essential. This is a full-time, hybrid role requiring some travel across the fleet. Job Description

Carnival UK is in search of a Product Owner (Events & Venue Management systems), who is crucial in supporting our technological direction and nurturing a high‑performing team. Your responsibilities will include :

  • Ownership and delivery of products within the events and venue management space, inclusive of dining, entertainment and reservation systems.
  • Overseeing scheduling systems for venues and supporting youth management and entertainment contract systems.
  • Contributing to configuration and delivery of guest‑facing digital systems and ensuring integration / support for physical assets.
  • Driving development and implementation of products / services through their full life cycle, collaborating with agile teams and business stakeholders.

Positioned within our internal structure from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President), this role is classified as a CUK07, offered as a full‑time position, on a permanent basis. We offer hybrid work including up to two days from home.

Please note Travel across our fleet will be required for an estimated total of 10 weeks annually, scheduled intermittently.

Additionally, due to the festive period, we will be reviewing applications in January 2026.

Requirements - Your Expertise and Leadership
  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or Delivery Manager.
  • In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles.
  • Familiarity with hospitality technology and / or reservation platforms (beneficial but not essential).
  • Experience working with physical assets as well as digital systems.
  • Outstanding communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to work with complex problems and find creative solutions.
