Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- To contribute to the development of the strategic (three year) plan for the assigned products in the Therapy Area Team (TAT) including the analysis of the internal and external environment, identification of current and future market access requirements and forecasting of volume, price, sales and market shares of competitor and assigned products
- The timely development, implementation, and control of the operating (one year) plan for the assigned products in the TAT to deliver brand revenue targets (e.g. sales/volume) and achieve marketing (e.g. market share) objectives. To monitor the implementation of the plan and the external environment and revise the operating plan as required.
- Projects planned in FY26 include:
- Finalising the new prophylaxis (Leave Piece, LP) and surgery (website and LP) campaigns
- Organising and delivering of a Best Practice Experience sharing meeting on Joint Clinics to improve management of VWD
- Utilising insights from the market research run in Q1 FY26 as well as the PIVOT Data (project led by medical) to inform and proceed with any narrative / material updates where required (prophylaxis and surgery campaigns)
- Supporting other functions with the delivery of the brand operational plan including sales, medical, PAGA.
- To support the cross-functional TAT and ensure effective implementation of the strategic and operating plans. To provide timely updates and ensure effective two-way communication between the TAT, the Business Unit Head, the Leadership Team, International Team and other key internal stakeholders.
- To monitor and analyze sales, market insights/data and competitor trends to assess their impact on the assigned products and recommend any corrective actions to the Therapy Area Manager and other key internal stakeholders
- To propose and manage the brand specific A&P budget for the assigned products, ensuring expenditure in line with planned phasing and is on target at year end.
- When required, represent the UK affiliate at International and other relevant internal meetings and taskforces, ensuring the UK market and affiliate needs are communicated and understood
- Create promotional items, always ensuring compliance with the ABPI Code of Practice and legislation governing advertising, submission for Certification (and re-certification) according to local SOPs and submission for MHRA approval where appropriate.
- To support the TAT with the co-ordination and organisation of national and international congresses, including approval of materials, stand concept, attendee list etc.
- Manage the demand review process for brand, liaising with key stakeholders as part of the Monthly Demand Review Meeting process
- Ensure compliance with UK and global SOPs, policies and quality system requirements as appropriate to the position including:
- Prompt reporting of all Adverse Events, Product Technical Complaints of Non-Conformities according to UK SOPs
- Completion of required training and maintenance of personal training records
- Providing assistance as required in the event of a field action, as determined by the Recall Team (in case of product recall)
