A leading production and licensing company in London seeks a Product Development Assistant on a temporary contract. The role involves supporting the product development team, assisting with design approvals, administrating online systems, and participating in team meetings. Joining an independent production and brand licensing company, which specialises in delivering high quality imaginative films and products for children and family audiences.
Known for their globally recognised feature films and animated specials including much-loved children’s characters, they have also produced several animated TV series that have gained huge popularity with younger audiences.
Their brand licensing programme has over 70 licensees globally, key and expanding categories include plush, puzzles and games, apparel, gifting and visitor attractions.
We now have an opportunity for a Product Development Assistant to join the team on a temporary fixed term contract, to support the product development team for 7 months starting in November 2025.
So, what will you be doing?
As an integral part of the licensing team, you will report to the Acting Product Development Manager, and work closely with the Product Development Executive to assist with the delivery of the company’s consumer products programme.
The role will include tasks in the following areas: assisting the product development team with design and sample approvals; administrating the online approvals system; cataloguing final products and distributing contractual samples; assisting with the creation of brand presentations and creative resources. You will participate in regular team meetings and licensee and retailer meetings, both internally and externally.
