Position : Procurement Manager

Location : One Strawberry Lane, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 4BX – Hybrid working on site in Newcastle twice per week

Salary : £48,000 per annum + benefits package

Castlefield Recruitment is excited to be partnering with Home Group to recruit a Procurement Manager. As the Procurement Manager, you will oversee the Asset, Building Safety & Facilities Management category, driving best practice and continuous improvement.

As the Procurement Manager you will be passionate about leading strategic procurement activity across key spend categories, delivering value for money, ensuring compliance, and supporting the organisation in achieving its operational and commercial objectives.

• Develop and implement category strategies and tender processes for high value, spend categories to drive efficiency and value while ensuring compliance with policies.
• To optimise external expenditure ensuring organisational adherence to procured arrangements
• Provide practical guidance and support stakeholders at all levels across Home Group in securing value when buying goods, services and works, all while adhering to the appropriate regulations
• Manage relationships with major suppliers driving performance and improvements.
• Contribute to the progression and continuous improvement of the Procurement team
• Public sector procurement experience would be advantageous
• Proven ability to communicate effectively and build strong professional relationships
