Overview

Procurement Development Leader – Full Time – Derby/Hybrid. As the Procurement Development Leader, you will lead the global development and deployment of functional improvement initiatives to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of the purchasing function.

What you will be doing

As a Procurement Development Leader, you will be responsible for leading and embedding both global and local major transformation projects, process and application development, data integrity improvements to ensure on time and accurate government reporting, and lead process and compliance reporting automation.

Responsibilities:

  • Project management: Utilize project management methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, budget and to customer requirements. Develop comprehensive workable issue solutions in complex situations
  • Stakeholder Management: Interface with all levels of Procurement and other functions to develop and implement improvement strategies.
  • Processes and Procedures: Lead and/or participate in the development and deployment of global purchasing processes, ensuring that they are fully integrated into the company\'s operating system(s). You will be responsible for ensuring supplier management team(s) are fully trained, capable and compliant to all functional processes. Where designated, you will support relevant process councils and audit activities
  • Purchasing Systems: When applicable, provide detailed requirements for improvements to purchasing systems. Lead global and local teams to implement new systems and improvements to existing systems. Embed and audit the data integrity of Purchasing systems within your area.
  • Reporting: Lead and co-ordinate operational reporting, data management, and integrity as per the requirements of the business, customer, governments and USA Small Business reporting requirement
