A public service organization in Lisburn is seeking a Procurement Advisor to support the procurement and contract management service. You will work closely with the Procurement and Contracts Manager and ensure effective delivery of services required to support the communities served. The role offers a salary of £37,035 – £39,513 per annum with a flexible working arrangement.
Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service (NIFRS) invites applications for the following role: Procurement Advisor - Job Ref: N193 Sep 2025. This is a key role in the NIFRS finance team. The post-holder will support the Procurement and Contracts Manager in delivering an efficient and effective procurement and contract management service to ensure NIFRS has access to the goods and services required to support the communities we serve.
NIFRS serves a population of 1.9 million across more than 5,500 square miles. The post is based at NIFRS Headquarters, 1 Seymour Street, Lisburn, BT27 4SX. The successful applicant will contribute as an integral member of the Finance team to provide a modern, professional and responsive financial service in line with NIFRS purpose, outcomes and values.
Hours of work: Currently 36¼ hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. A Flexible Working Hours Scheme is in operation. The post may require working to fulfil the obligations of the role. There is one permanent post based at NIFRS Headquarters, with a reserve list created for 12 months for future permanent or fixed-term vacancies.
Salary: PO1 scale, currently £37,035 – £39,513 per annum (Under review).
