Job summary

Overview

Blue Arrow are recruiting for a Processing Technician to work for our tech client based in Stockport. The role involves delivering high standards of testing, diagnosis and repair of electronic devices including but not limited to mobile phones, Apple computers and game consoles.

Responsibilities

• Testing and diagnosing devices including iPhones, Apple Computers and game consoles
• Replacing components such as LCDs, batteries, cameras, etc. on mainly Apple mobile phones
• Replacing and repairing components such as optical drives, power sources, chassis on game consoles
• Hit KPI targets and maintain a high-quality standard
• Maintain high quality standards when handling inbound product to ensure individual and departmental adherence to RFT standards
• Record precisely all parts used for repair in the internal system
• Take ownership and responsibility for all allocated devices
• Manage work bench, tools and equipment provided
• General housekeeping to ensure high Health & Safety standards are maintained
• Flexibility with overtime when required
• Work in other departments as required in line with customer and business needs

Key Skills & Experience

Must have

• Experience in mobile phone and Apple computer repairs (Apple mandatory), Samsung
• Experience in game console repair (Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch)
• Passion for all kinds of repairs
• Ability to hit given targets
• Attention to detail
• Team player
• Basic Microsoft Office skills
• Willingness to develop themselves
• A good level of spoken and written English
• High level of accuracy with great attention to detail
• Experience in fast-paced, target-driven environments
• Hard-working and punctual
• Positive attitude
• IT literate and proficient in Microsoft Office
• Self-motivated with initiative and ability to work in a team

Preferred

• Experience in repairs of other brands and models is highly welcomed

Working Pattern & Pay

Working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, 7am - 7pm. The pay rate is £13.37 per hour. This is Temporary to Permanent.
