Salary: £27,496.64 per annum

Hours: 7:30 - 16:00 Monday to Wednesday; 7:30 - 15:30 Thursday & Friday

You will be part of the frontline operations team in the Broomfield Bank & Weatherlees area and the business simply cannot operate without you. Every day is different, you will be working in all weather conditions carrying out a range of tasks to ensure the essential functions of our wastewater treatment works and wastewater pumping stations operate to maintain the supply to our customers and protect the environment. Although work is generated to you on a weekly basis, you will be managing your own time, giving you the freedom to be proactive and organise your work schedules as delegated on your working week.

Responsibilities
  • Maintaining site compliance.
  • Maintenance tasks – daily running operation of our site, unblocking pumps, screens and valves to ensure continuous plant operation.
  • Monitoring, collating and reporting of data to ensure statutory and regulatory compliance.
  • Fault finding and problem-solving skills are essential to respond to breakdowns.
  • Escalating faults to the relevant teams within the specified time frame.
  • Site hygiene in line with our regulatory obligations.
You will be
  • Comfortable working outdoors, potentially in all weather conditions.
  • Prepared to work within the company's rota of a 7-day working week and participate on a standby rota.
