Process Operator/Supervisor

Up to £28,000 depending on experience

We are seeking an experienced Process Operator to join a busy manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have supervisory experience, or be keen to develop into a supervisory position, an FLT licence and some general maintenance skills.

Duties
  • Operate and monitor production equipment to ensure smooth manufacturing processes in a clean/sterile room environment.
  • Manage materials handling, including loading and unloading raw materials and finished products.
  • Conduct basic equipment repairs and troubleshooting to minimise downtime.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving activities, ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of goods.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the work area to promote safety and efficiency.
  • Support the loading of products onto lorries using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, subject to certification.
  • Supervise other Operatives, ensure workload is distributed and tasks completed daily.
Skills
  • Maintenance knowledge coupled with the ability to perform basic repairs on equipment.
  • Valid forklift licence or experience operating forklifts is preferred.
  • Previous process operative experience
  • Good understanding of health and safety practices relevant to manufacturing environments.

This is a permanent, full time role.

Salary up to £28,000 - depending on level of experience, plus bonus.
