A leading engineering firm in Warrington is seeking a Process Engineer to support multi-discipline teams with process design and safety assessments. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Chemical Engineering, at least 2 years of experience, and good knowledge of DHSE issues. To support the delivery of the SRP Project, we are seeking a Process Engineer who will support multi‑discipline teams with process design calculations, simulations, reports, safety assessments, HAZOP participation, and design reviews.

£40,454 per year – estimated. The Opportunity Amentum is the Design and Engineering partner for Sellafield under a 20‑year PPP to deliver £7 bn of major projects, including major site‑wide improvements and supporting services. The Sellafield Product & Residue Store (SPRS) Retreatment Plant (SRP) Project will provide a facility that receives Special Nuclear Material (SNM) from existing stores across the Sellafield site and processes it into a form suitable for safe and secure storage until 2120.
