Working Hours: 37.5 hours Mon-Thurs: 07:30am-16:00 pm, Fri: 07:30am-13:00pm Salary: Up to £56,000 + fantastic company benefits

Role

We're looking for a motivated and driven individual to bring best practices in process engineering, champion Lean methodologies, and improve manufacturing flow and efficiency. Maintaining our high‑quality standards and supporting key machining and manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities
  • Optimise and improve manufacturing processes through focusing on safety, quality, productivity, and cost‑effectiveness across machining operations.
  • Lead and support lean initiatives by driving continuous improvement through waste reduction, process standardisation, and shop floor optimisation.
  • Use Excel and internal systems to analyse data and track performance.
  • Tackle and reduce the current process documentation backlog.
  • Work closely with shop floor teams to ensure process optimisation.
Skills
  • Significant experience in Process Engineering and Manufacturing /or Industrial engineering.
  • Continuous improvement background and proven experience using Lean‑Sigma.
  • Ability to drive, influence and lead manufacturing process changes.
  • Hands‑on experience in machining, hydraulics, automotive, aerospace, or similar industries.
  • Previous working experience using Microsoft tools (Excel) to store and analyse data.
