A local authority recruitment firm is seeking an experienced Housing Standards Officer to join a housing team in the West Midlands. The role includes investigating housing offenses, drafting and serving statutory notices, and conducting routine HMO inspections. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in conducting HHSRS inspections within a local authority setting. This position offers a flexible work arrangement, with some days on-site and others remote.

You will be stationed as a minimum 3-days out on site/ in office, with the remaining days spent remotely.
There is an expectancy to hit the ground running therefore recent previous experience conducting HHSRS inspections (minimum 2 years) within a local authority setting is essential.
