A leading recruitment firm in Leighton Buzzard seeks an Assistant Manager to support and drive team growth focusing on international tax matters. The role includes managing a client portfolio with a balance of compliance and advisory work, supporting Directors in engagements, and participating in business development activities. Ideal candidates will hold relevant qualifications and demonstrate strong technical expertise in private client matters.
The Assistant Manager will play a key role in supporting and driving the growth of the team, with a particular emphasis on international tax matters concerning high-net-worth individuals and families, entrepreneurs, owner-managed businesses (OMBs), private equity clients, and trusts with varied asset profiles.
The core responsibility will be the management of a client portfolio, encompassing both tax compliance and advisory work—initially balanced, with a longer-term shift towards advisory-focused services. The role also includes supporting Directors and senior management in both client engagements and team oversight, as well as contributing to ad hoc special projects.
Additionally, the role involves active participation in business development activities and proposal work, collaborating with Directors and the wider management team to pursue opportunities from both existing and prospective clients.
