We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive to join their small, friendly, and supportive Private Client team. This role offers flexibility, work-life balance, and the opportunity to focus on providing high-quality legal advice in Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs).

The Role:

You’ll manage a varied caseload of private client work from initial instruction to completion, with a particular emphasis on:

  • Drafting Wills and preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney
  • Providing expert advice and clear communication to clients in person, by phone, and via email
  • Maintaining accurate files within the firm’s case management system
  • Ensuring compliance with all legal, professional, and regulatory requirements
  • Keeping up to date with developments in Private Client law
Skills and Experience required:
  • Experience in a busy Private Client department, ideally with focus on Wills and LPAs
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to client care
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit team
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency with case management systems and Microsoft Office
  • Experience advising agricultural, farming, or small business clients (advantageous but not essential)
