Qualifications

  • Experience with wills, powers of attorney, and estate administration.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare initial client onboarding.
  • Liaise with clients and third parties.
  • Handle compliance for client matters.
  • Take instructions for wills and powers of attorney.
  • Administer estates including relevant documentation.
  • Assist with complex probate cases.

Job description

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join my clients team in their New Mills offices on a hybrid basis.

The Role

The successful candidate will work alongside the Managing Partner at my clients New Mills office to support the growing Private Client case load. Applicants need to have had at least 5 years' experience in dealing with Private Client matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dealing with the preparation of initial Client Onboarding
  • Liaising with Clients and other Third Parties
  • Dealing with all aspects of Client Matter Compliance
  • Taking new instructions for Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Administration of Estates, Tax Returns, IHT Planning
  • Will writing and creating Lasting Powers of Attorney
  • Full Administration of Estates including the preparation of documents such as Deeds of Variation, Deed of Appointment, Appropriation and Renunciation
  • Assisting on complex Probate cases such as foreign assets and Trusts
