JOB TITLE: Private Client Lawyer

PQE REQUIRED: 8+

LOCATION: Newcastle Upon Tyne

SALARY: Up to £60,000 DOE

OVERVIEW
  • Lead the Private Client department at a highly respected Legal 500 firm.
  • Work closely with the Managing Partner to shape strategy and drive departmental performance.
  • Manage a varied caseload including wills, probate, estate administration and Court of Protection matters.
  • Provide hands on leadership, inspiring and mentoring a talented team.
  • Promote technical excellence, professional development and high standards of client care.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and uphold the firm’s strong reputation.
THE CANDIDATE
  • Qualified Solicitor with 8+ PQE in private client law.
  • Proven leadership experience including supervision, mentoring and team development.
  • Strong expertise in wills, probate, estates, trusts and Court of Protection matters.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to produce high quality, accurate work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills and a composed, professional approach.
  • Up to date knowledge of AML, GDPR and other key compliance requirements.
  • Ambitious, forward thinking leader committed to shaping departmental growth.
