We’re trusted by more than 10,000 companies worldwide, including Wise, On Running, Breitling, and Fabletics, and we’re tackling the 7 hours of lost productivity per employee each week, a $1.7 trillion problem.

Privacy & AI Analyst

Barcelona | London

What’s the role?

Build with us. As Privacy & AI Analyst at Perk, you’ll help shape the future of privacy and AI in tech. You will be operating at the crossroads of business, technology, and evolving regulations. We are a team driven by customer‑centricity, innovation, and ambition to be the best team in tech. You will have the opportunity to create visible impact from day one as Perk moves toward being an AI‑first company.

Your work will help us build customer trust and empower teams with clear, scalable, and actionable privacy and AI governance that drives Perk’s growth. However, this is just the start: we’ll provide you with the resources you need to consolidate a world‑class data privacy and responsible AI culture for Perk, and to grow your own profile as a leading professional in the space.

This role sits within Perk’s Legal & Privacy team. Reporting to Perk’s Senior Privacy Manager, you will work closely with our Privacy Counsel & DPO.

What will you be doing?
Strategy & Risk
  • You will help us build and evolve Perk’s privacy and AI governance programs to enable growth while keeping trust intact. Identify and assess privacy and AI risks, then partner with the right teams to tackle them. That includes collaborating with the Security team on data incident readiness, AI threats, simulations and response.

Operations & Implementation
  • You will manage our privacy and AI tooling stack (and the relationship with those vendors), including automation and integrations. You’ll keep policies and guidelines updated and handle day‑to‑day privacy inquiries – including DSR intake, responses, tracking, and escalation, and run core accountability activities like ROPAs, AI inventory, DPIAs/FRIAs, LIAs, TIAs, consent tracking, marketing opt‑outs, and third‑party due diligence.

  • You will partner with the Privacy Counsel & DPO to turn regulatory updates into practical, scalable guidance. You’ll also track and report key program performance metrics, trends, and risks to senior stakeholders.

Compliance & Certifications
  • You will keep our privacy and AI governance programs aligned to GDPR, the EU AI Act, and other applicable laws. You’ll also support ISO 27701/27001/42001/23894 internal and external audits, evidence collection, and ongoing maintenance.

Product, Privacy & Responsible AI by Design
  • You will support privacy by design across product, engineering and marketing – clear guidance on data flows, retention, minimization, AI ethics, and default settings, so teams can ship with confidence, and we can detect and mitigate risks early.

Culture & Enablement
  • You will consolidate a Privacy Champions program to spread shared ownership across the company group (in collaboration with your Privacy & AI team colleagues). You’ll deliver training, comms, and knowledge resources that make privacy and AI governance feel real and approachable – so teams and users can easily self‑serve curated information and make informed decisions about managing data.

What capabilities will help you succeed?
  • Passion for Privacy & AI in the evolving tech space. You’re excited about mastering these fields.

  • 2-5 years of experience in privacy, data protection, AI governance, compliance, information security, or a related field, ideally in a technology or SaaS environment.

  • Practical knowledge of key Privacy & AI regulations and frameworks.

  • Proven track record owning privacy operations end‑to‑end with no to minimal supervision.

  • Ability to grasp complex technical concepts. Think data flows, system architectures, and anonymisation. You don’t have to be an expert on these, but you will need to fluently communicate with and advise engineers on product development.

  • Excellent problem‑solving and sound risk judgment. You will be tasked with making decisions with limited oversight.

  • Clear, concise communication tailored to technical and non‑technical audiences; strong drafting skills for policies, guidance, and training.

  • Self‑starter, able to prioritize impact over effort / able to say “no” to less important things for the company, bias for action.

Preferred qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Information Technology, or a related field – you don’t have to be a lawyer.

  • Recognized certifications such as CIPP, CIPM, CIPT, or AIGP.

  • Hands‑on experience with privacy and governance platforms and automation (e.g., BigID, OneTrust, TrustArc) and basic privacy tooling familiarity. You don’t have to be an expert in any one tool, but have the curiosity to learn new tools.

  • Exposure to standards and audits, especially ISO 27701 and 27001.

Seven Star Service / We are owners
  • Proactivity

    • You anticipate customer needs and come up with ways to accelerate business growth.

    • You always, always, always move at speed, with the needs of the client and customers as your first priority.

    • You can sustain delivery in a hyper‑speed working environment while maintaining your own satisfaction and wellbeing.

  • Accountability

    • You act as an owner and take an active role in project reviews.

    • You propose ways in which TK as a whole can be more effective in the future without apportioning blame.

  • Innovation

    • You do things differently and love innovation in problem‑solving and process delivery.

    • You think in the future.

    • We are a team.

  • Collaboration

    • You encourage innovation within teamwork and challenge the status quo amongst your working group.

    • You work to understand the needs and expectations of progressive in‑house teams’ customers.

  • Honesty

    • You share your failures with your team to humanise failure, coach, and increase awareness.

    • You communicate transparently—up, down, and across and form relationships that emphasise being direct with people in your workplace.

  • Communication

    • You enter conversations with a flexible and open mind.

    • You are open to listening to and understanding other people's points of view, rather than simply getting your message across.

Impact over Effort
  • Prioritisation

    • You regularly review your workload and manage up to concentrate your efforts on the most impactful matters for Perk and the Perk mission and vision.

    • You are realistic and do not over‑promise.

  • Organisation

    • You focus on the big wins and own your workflow.

  • Creativity

    • You don’t stop communicating great ideas; you prize ambition over ease of implementation.

    • In seemingly intractable situations, you are able to find resolution pathways.

Be a good person
  • Continual Growth

    • You are ambitious to level up yourself and hold the people around you accountable.

    • You are constantly seeking new opportunities—you don't just wait for things to happen.

  • Curiosity

    • Your curiosity drives you to unpeel the layers of processes/products and work to improve them (recognising that sometimes this may mean removing or cancelling a process).

    • You share your influences and inspirations amongst your peers.

    • You nurture a sense of collaboration and cooperation amongst a team.

  • Integrity

    • You build relationships with all Perk stakeholders that are trust‑based.

    • You give credit where it’s due.

Where will the role take you?

We believe passionately in the importance of growth and development for our team members; and that every team member is entitled to a job from which they derive high levels of personal satisfaction. Talented and driven people are entitled to expect employers to offer an employee value proposition which offers continual levelling up.

A successful occupant of this role will, after a suitable period of time, have exceptional experience of working in a fast scaling, global tech (and specifically SaaS) business. They will develop the tools and techniques to deliver internal privacy and AI governance capability at scale which subverts the expectations of stakeholders regarding privacy and AI laws (i.e. that it is bureaucracy) and drives tangible business outcomes.

In terms of promotions, the next layer up from Privacy & AI Analyst is Senior Privacy & AI Analyst. We are not hiring in this layer currently, and do not expect to hire “over your head” for this role; instead, we are looking for this person to grow and scale capability in their areas of expertise (and among legal subject matter experts who interact with other legal and privacy roles). Perk will offer you as much latitude as you want in order to deliver the best possible outcomes for your customers; and micromanagement or layers of bureaucracy are not part of that process.

The winning candidate will benefit from a competitive salary, stock options and a positive, and “high impact not long hours” culture.

Our Benefits
  • Rest and recharge with 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays

  • Receive competitive compensation and equity ownership in Perk

  • Take control of your physical health with private medical cover and voluntary dental insurance from Bupa, and discounted gym memberships with GymFlex

  • Plan for your future with our qualifying earnings company pension plan with Aviva

  • Know that your loved ones are protected financially through your Life Insurance if the worst were to happen

  • Rest assured that you’re covered by income protection in case you experience a long‑term sickness or absence

  • Leverage tax‑efficient cycle and electric car schemes with Cycle2Work & Octopus

  • Join our unforgettable Perk events, including our spectacular annual summer party

  • Always feel supported with Spring Health, our market‑leading wellbeing partner, providing fast, comprehensive access to 12x therapy and 12x coaching sessions for you and your loved ones

  • Focus on your family with 12-16 weeks’ paid parental leave

  • Contribute to your community with 16 paid hours per year to spend volunteering for your dearest charitable causes

  • Broaden your horizons with up to 20 “Work from Anywhere” days per year

  • Stay savvy with access to a wide variety of discounts and rewards

  • Follow your passions and take a four‑week, fully paid sabbatical once you reach 5 years

  • Let us help you move to one of our hubs with relocation support
