A UK university in Hatfield is seeking a Print Supervisor to lead customer service and manage print production. This role involves overseeing lithographic and digital print processes, supervising a small team, and ensuring high-quality service delivery to students and the community. The ideal candidate should have strong team management skills, a Level 3 City and Guilds qualification, and a commitment to maintaining service excellence. This position offers a salary range of £33,002 to £38,784 with generous benefits.

The Document Services Team at the University of Hertfordshire provide a wide range of essential print services to the University, our students and the wider community. Our small and close-knit team operate from our new dedicated print room facility on our College Lane campus.
The Print Supervisor will provide a high standard of customer service to all our internal and external customers. They will be responsible for corporate lithographic & digital print production, large format printing, vinyl printing, photocopying and print finishing, packaging and distribution of work produced. They will support with the day-to-day operational management of the corporate print facilities within the University, supervision of workflows, financial processes and supervision of the team.
With a can-do attitude, the ability to work calmly under pressure and a strong sense of accountability, the right candidate will be a good team player with proven experience of managing the delivery of a print service and coordinating a team of staff in a busy customer service environment.
A minimum of level 3 City and Guilds in a relevant subject and educated with a minimum of A-levels is required.
