Job summary

A leading Aerospace and Defence supplier in Stevenage is seeking a Principal Thermal Engineer for a 12-month contract role. The successful candidate will take ownership of thermal analysis work, provide mechanical analysis support, and deliver clear reports detailing analysis evidence. Applicants must have a degree in a STEM subject, proven thermal analysis experience, and excellent communication skills. This position is fully onsite and requires British nationality and SC Clearance.

Qualifications

• Ability to carry out thermal analysis through hand calculations and Finite Element methods.
• Experience in thermal analysis of electronics and conducting thermal studies.
• Self-motivated, organised, and capable of delivering work independently.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of delivering thermal analysis work packages.
• Provide mechanical analysis support for designs and thermal performance.
• Deliver clear reports with firm conclusions for analysis evidence.
