Job summary

WSP UK & Ireland is seeking a Principal/Senior Mechanical Engineer for the Mining, and Minerals business. You will contribute to layout, design and specification of mineral processing facilities and engage with the supply chain to meet project requirements.

The role involves leadership of multi-disciplinary teams and travel within the UK and internationally. The ideal candidate has a degree in mechanical or mineral engineering and a track record of managing complex projects with strong

• Degree in mechanical or mineral engineering is required.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and lead multi-disciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to travel within the UK and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to layout, design and specification of mineral processing, metallurgical and hydrometallurgical facilities.
• Engage with equipment supply chain to ensure project needs are captured.
• Ensure compliance with corporate and legislative requirements for project delivery.
• Develop value-adding options with the client to improve project outcomes.
