Job summary

WSP in the United Kingdom is seeking a Principal / Senior Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the layout, design and specification of mineral processing facilities and related materials handling systems. The role spans studies and engineering contracts within a multi-discipline environment.

You will lead complex projects, guide multi-disciplinary teams, and engage with suppliers to capture project needs while ensuring compliance with corporate and legislative requirements.

Qualifications

• A Degree in mechanical or mineral engineering is required.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and lead multi-disciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to travel within the UK and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to layout, design and specification of mineral processing, metallurgical and hydrometallurgical facilities, and materials handling systems.
• Specifiy and select equipment, engaging with the supply chain to capture project needs and ensure quality.
• Ensure compliance with corporate and legislative requirements to maintain project delivery quality and consistency.
