Job summary

WSP UK is seeking a Principal/Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead concept studies and engineering for mineral processing projects, from small to large scales, within a multi-disciplinary team. You will design and specify mineral processing and materials handling facilities, liaising with other disciplines and the supply chain to ensure compliant, high-quality outcomes across UK and international projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical or mineral engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and lead multi-disciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to travel within the UK and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to layout, design and specification of mineral processing facilities and materials handling.
• Liaise with other engineering disciplines to capture equipment requirements and ensure feedback into process plant design.
• Specify and select equipment and engage with the supply chain to meet project needs.
• Ensure compliance with corporate and legislative requirements for quality and delivery.
