Job Title: Principal_Engineer/Delivery Lead

Location: Surrey, UK- 2-3 days onsite- McLaren Technology Centre, Chertsey Road, Woking, Surrey GU21 4YH, United Kingdom

Job Type: Permanent/Fixed Term

Responsibilities
  • Overall responsibility for delivery of Electrical Systems Engineering and Software Systems & Controls Engineering support for Series programme.
  • Define and oversee electrical architecture and integration strategies for infotainment and telematics systems.
  • Lead software systems and controls engineering activities, ensuring compliance with functional safety and cybersecurity standards.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams for hardware-software integration and validation.
  • Manage task assignment, prioritisation, and progress tracking across engineering teams.
  • Interface with programme management, VLM, and engineering leadership to align technical deliverables with project milestones.
  • Ensure adherence to quality, timelines, and compliance standards including ISO 26262 and ASPICE.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in delivery processes and engineering practices.
  • Oversight of CRs, QCRs, and reporting for programme governance.
