Senior/Principal Civil Structural Engineer role focusing on heavy civil engineering for Transformational Programmes of critical UK infrastructure, with opportunities on iconic projects at home and abroad. We specialise in heavy civil engineering across sectors such as Defence, Energy and Water, delivering industry-leading engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle, including client-side support and construction phases. Your Purpose
  • Lead a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, delivering high-quality results.
  • Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
  • Manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
  • Collaborate with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.
What you can bring
  • Chartered Civil / Structural Engineer.
  • Experience in design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
  • Sound knowledge in design and analysis of heavy concrete and steel structures, with familiarity of current design standards and working practices (British Standards and American codes).
  • Proficiency in designing with appropriate structural analysis packages.
  • Experience in the nuclear sector, particularly in the design and implementation of safety-related structures, systems and components (strongly preferred, but dependent on overall experience).
