Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly experienced Child & Adolescent Psychotherapist in this new leadership position. We are seeking someone who has extensive clinical and leadership experience working in CAMHS as a child and adolescent psychotherapist to lead a small team of qualified and trainee psychotherapists and provide clinical leadership to our Under 5s pathway. The post is 22.5 hrs per week (0.6WTE) over 3 days, based in Worcester but requires travel across multiple sites in Worcestershire and Herefordshire. We are seeking someone who has a passion for supporting children and families, with experience working directly with children and families, and working with other teams, professionals and partner agencies to support the delivery, evaluation and quality assurance of the child and adolescent psychotherapy service in CAMHS.

Main duties

The successful applicant would be a senior member of the multi-disciplinary clinical team and ensure that children and families receive a high standard of care, and work closely with other senior leads in the service to support the overall delivery of a quality CAMHS service. CAMHS is a supportive and vibrant team which values innovative thinking, client centred care and a desire to make a difference. We are passionate about improving services for children and young people and the team has an excellent track record for supporting all staff with professional development.

Registration with the Association of Child Psychotherapists, and ability to work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team\'s policies and procedures, are requirements to the role.
