About you:

  • 6+ years experience working as an Ecologist in the UK
  • Strong understanding of UK nature conservation legislation and policy, and development management processes in England and Wales.
  • Strong, broad experience in habitat and protected species surveys and reports, preliminary ecological appraisals, and Ecological Impact Assessments
  • Experience in
    • Project management
    • Clients and stakeholder engagement
    • Line managing / mentoring junior colleagues (desirable)
    • Tendering and fee proposing (desirable)
    • Business development (desirable)
  • Full UK driving licence with a willingness to work away / across antisocial hours during relevant seasons
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK
