About the School

The school is centred on pupils’ development and aims to progress both academically and in their profound and complex needs. It supports children across Key Stages with diagnoses of Autism/ASD, Severe Learning Difficulties, Profound Multiple Learning Disabilities and challenging behaviours.

Responsibilities
  • Work with students across all Key Stages with diagnoses of Autism/ASD, SLD, PMLD and challenging behaviours.
  • Take a proactive, confident approach to managing situations and supporting children’s individual needs.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team, contributing positively to the wider school environment.
  • Support the development of pupils’ academic progress and overall well‑being.
Qualifications
  • Experience working with children with additional needs/disabilities.
  • Experience with students with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) and challenging behaviours.
  • Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent.
  • Team‑Teach or MAPA qualifications are desirable.
