Overview

Year 3 Class Teacher — Salary: London Fringe MPS1-UPS3 (£34,397 - £52,488). Start Date: Immediately after Half Term (Monday 3rd November).

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Year 3 teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Broxbourne, Hertfordshire — a short drive or bus ride from Enfield, North London. This is a full-time, permanent position and is not suitable for ECTs. You will be responsible for leading a lively Year 3 class, creating a stimulating and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, using this information to inform teaching and support interventions.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour, motivation, and discipline in the classroom.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues to support learning and wellbeing.
  • Participate fully in school life, including team meetings, staff development, and school initiatives.
  • Lead a subject area if required, contributing to the school's broader teaching strategy.
What We're Looking For
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with solid experience teaching Key Stage 2, preferably Year 3.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality teaching and learning.
