Person Specification :
  • Holds QTS, with ECTs encouraged to apply
  • Dedicated, professional, and demonstrates excellent classroom practice
  • Holds a relevant teaching qualification and is an outstanding classroom practitioner
  • Demonstrates strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire children
  • Has a passion for teaching and the ability to instil enthusiasm for learning in pupils
  • Committed to professional development and able to contribute to whole‑school initiatives
  • Has experience in curriculum planning, assessment, and delivering high-quality learning experiences
  • Ability to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
Key Responsibilities :
  • Ensure high standards of teaching and learning across the primary curriculum
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire, challenge, and support all pupils
  • Assess, track, and report on pupil progress, using data to inform teaching strategies
  • Support and mentor colleagues where appropriate, contributing to a culture of continuous professional development
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to drive school-wide strategies for academic success
  • Maintain strong relationships with pupils, parents, and the wider school community
  • Promote extracurricular opportunities and initiatives that enhance pupils’ learning experiences
