A ‘Good’ Primary School in Southend‑on‑Sea are seeking either a qualified SENCo or an experienced Teacher/Assistant SENCo who aspires to be a full‑time Primary School SENCo. This role is full‑time, long‑term and starts in February 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and qualified SENCo or an experienced Teacher/ Assistant SENCo looking for a school to complete your NASENCo qualification in.
Academics are working with this warm and welcoming Primary School based in Southend‑on‑Sea who are seeking an aspiring SENCo to join them in February 2026. The appointed SENCo will coordinate the school’s provision for children with SEN, implement the Trust’s SEN policy in school on a day‑to‑day basis and ensure the school is ambitious in meeting the needs of all.
The school is looking for someone who is flexible, adaptable; works well with others and has great interpersonal and communication skills. You will have SEN Teaching experience and have a good understanding of the SEN code of practice, but plenty of training will be available on an ongoing basis.
