Are you an experienced primary school teacher looking to cover a PPA at a great primary school based in Waltham Forest, London from January 2026? Are you tired of the full‑time class teacher responsibilities but still want to teach children? Would you be happy delivering pre‑planned lessons across Nursery to Year 6? Or perhaps you have completed your teaching training and haven't secured an ECT role yet and want to gain experience across different year groups at a school that could offer your ECT induction further down the line?

We are a 2‑form entry primary school located in Waltham Forest, London seeking a full‑time PPA primary teacher to join us in January 2026 on a full‑time, long‑term contract! This role is open to both experienced primary teachers and ECTs. Please note, ECT induction will not be completed as a PPA teacher but will give you a solid year of whole‑school teaching. This school would be happy to put you through your ECT induction from September 2026 and prior to this, you would be well supported!

Responsibilities

You will be required to deliver set planned lessons across the primary school from Nursery to Year 6. You will not be required to plan or write reports but will be required to mark.
