Start Date: January 2026
Contract: 3 Months (Temporary)

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Key Stage 2 Teacher to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Macclesfield. This short-term position covers the spring term and offers an excellent opportunity to inspire and engage pupils in Years 3–6.

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.
  • Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with additional needs.
  • Assess and track pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching strategies where necessary.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and well‑being.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and other staff to support pupil development.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to reports for parents and school leadership.
  • Ensure safeguarding and child protection policies are upheld at all times.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Proven experience teaching Key Stage 2 pupils.
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate learners through creative teaching approaches.
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
