Job summary

A prominent healthcare provider is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse or Clinical Research Practitioner in Greater London. This role involves engaging with General Practitioners and community leaders to enhance participation in research. You will travel to various locations, screening participants and collecting data. Overview

A vacancy at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. A wonderful opportunity for a Registered Nurse or Clinical Research Practitioner to make a difference in patient care and to deliver research in primary care and wider care settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with General Practitioners, medical personnel, and community leaders to encourage participation in research.
  • Travel daily across sites in North Central and North East London to perform participant screening, consenting, recruiting, and data collection for research studies.
  • Work with researchers, patients, community service teams, GPs, non‑NHS settings (care homes, prisons, dental practices, community settings, hospices, etc.) and NIHR stakeholders.
  • Use clinical experience to promote and deliver research within the community.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Registered Nurse or Clinical Research Practitioner.
  • Experience in clinical research and knowledge of the primary care environment (desirable but not mandatory).
  • Strong communication skills, friendly, helpful, flexible, and able to work under pressure.

Working pattern: full‑time, non‑remote. No working from home. Dynamic team with training, support and mentoring. Affiliated with NIHR North London Regional Research Delivery Network. Noclor NHS Research Office is part of CNWL's R&D department. The Primary Care team is small and eager to hear from self‑motivated nurses or Clinical Research Practitioners.
