Responsibilities

As a Primary Care Operations Manager, you will work as part of the wider primary care leadership team, collectively responsible for providing operational leadership and contributing to the overall service performance in primary care. You will directly support the Head of Healthcare, and the wider team with an MDT approach, reporting requirements and workforce duties. The post holder will need to be conscientious, meticulous, and always act in a confidential manner. You will be required to demonstrate the ability to lead and empower others, and to plan/support and implement change with innovative practice to the Healthcare service. You will be highly motivated, be able to work unsupervised, using your own initiative, to prioritise your own workload. You will be required to deal with several complex issues at one time and work under pressure. You will be required to supervise junior colleagues in the Administration team, responsible for the day-to-day line management of these staff members, recruitment, and inducting new starters.

Oxleas offers a wide range of NHS healthcare services to people in community and secure environment settings. Our services include community health care such as district nursing and speech and language therapy, care for people with learning disabilities and mental health care such as psychiatry, nursing and therapies. Our multidisciplinary teams look after people of all ages and we work in close partnership with other parts of the NHS, local councils and the voluntary sector and through our new provider collaboratives.
