Position: Pressure & NDT Engineer based in the Manchester region.

Role Overview: As a Pressure & NDT Engineer, your responsibilities include planning and conducting inspections and reports, including Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) on various pressure equipment across different industries.

The inspections ensure compliance with current legislation and our Business Management System. You will mainly perform statutory inspections, NDT, testing, and reporting on industrial equipment, serving as a technical expert and representative of BES Group.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform rigorous inspections to identify defects and prevent incidents.
  2. Complete detailed reports and ensure customer compliance with relevant regulations (including PSSR).
  3. Provide exceptional customer service and professional representation of our company.
  4. Conduct NDT inspections according to procedures and standards.
  5. Interpret and evaluate test results, and complete reports with sketches as needed.

Training and Development: Successful applicants will join an 8-16 week Engineer Surveyor training program, emphasizing high-quality training standards.

Requirements:

  • Engineering qualification at Level 4 and practical experience.
  • Experience with pressure equipment such as boilers, vessels, heating systems, etc.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Experience in site NDT environments, including Magnetic Particle and Dye Penetrant testing.
  • Good communication skills and IT literacy.
  • PCN Level 2 certification (desirable).
