Job description

We are looking for a proactive and highly organised Press and Media Demo Fleet Coordinator to oversee the press demonstration fleet for a major Automotive OEM, based onsite at the customer’s office in Uxbridge, West London.

The role supports the Account Team Supervisor and Customer Service Centre Manager and involves managing requests on behalf of the client, journalists, and VIP loan customers. You will work closely with the OEM’s UK PR team and act as an ambassador for BCA, ensuring exceptional service delivery and successful achievement of all contracted KPIs and SLAs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the UK Press Fleet proactively and reactively to ensure optimum media coverage and ROI.
  • Liaise with journalists and VIPs to book test vehicles and ensure all relevant delivery information is provided.
  • Conduct proactive outreach to journalists when new models are available.
  • Handle communications with high-profile individuals via email and telephone with confidence and professionalism.
  • Ensure accurate vehicle information packs and specification sheets are issued with each demonstration vehicle.
  • Monitor the fleet daily to ensure all vehicles are fully prepared and ready for delivery.
  • Ensure all vehicles are prepared to the highest standard.
  • Produce weekly and monthly reporting for the client.
  • Manage fleet on-fleet and de-fleet processes in line with KPIs.
  • Monitor completion of PDIs according to client requirements.
  • Respond promptly and efficiently to all client requests.
  • Maintain accurate information across internal and external systems.
  • Attend events occasionally as a vehicle management point of contact.
  • Be available for potential weekend and evening requirements.
  • Build and maintain effective professional relationships.
  • Monitor and evaluate media coverage resulting from press loans.
  • Carry out any other reasonable duties as required.

  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when required, and occasional out-of-hours cover.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Ability to travel to other business sites.
