Following the retirement of our current, much loved and respected Site and Premises Manager, Gatley Primary School is seeking to appoint a new Site and Premises Manager. We are looking for someone who has a keen interest and commitment to or local and school community and is talented, ambitious and committed to offering the best provision to our children and staff.
The successful candidate will be knowledgeable about Site and Premises Management and will use their expertise and talents to build on the already well‑established and successful systems, which are in place. They will be able to work with our highly skilled School Business Manager to enhance the operational running of the school to ensure the safety of our school and wider school community. The successful candidate will also demonstrate a real commitment to safeguarding and safe working practices, which is fundamental to the Trust s ethos and values.
We ensure that we have a range of policies and procedures in place, which promote safeguarding and safer working practice across the school. This is in line with statutory guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education and The Education Act 2002 and we expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

We expect the successful candidate to have the necessary standard of spoken English, as described under Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016, the Public Sector fluency duty that requires state funded schools to ensure candidates for their customer facing roles have the necessary standard of spoken English (or English or Welsh in Wales).
