Overview

Pre-School Deputy Manager – Coombes Community Pre-School, Royston. Start date: Immediate. Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday (Term-time only).

Coombes Community Pre-School in Royston is looking for a warm, energetic and creative Deputy Manager to join our friendly team. If you love supporting young children through play, jumping into imaginative adventures, and helping to create a nurturing learning environment, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Support the Manager in the day-to-day running of the pre-school
• Lead the team in delivering high-quality, play-based learning
• Build positive relationships with children, families and staff
• Help create a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment
• Step into the Manager’s role when required

We’re Looking For Someone Who Is

• Qualified with a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
• Fun, creative and playful – someone who doesn’t mind getting messy, running around outdoors in all weather and drinking the occasional cup of imaginary tea
• Confident and caring, with strong leadership skills
• Passionate about early years development
• Reliable, enthusiastic and ready to jump straight in
• Available for an immediate start
