Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Practice Nurse or in a similar primary care setting role.
• Experience with undertaking childhood and travel vaccines, smears and non-complex respiratory reviews.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritise effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide care and interventions based on scheduled patient appointments.
• Manage patients with chronic conditions by running dedicated clinic sessions.
• Promote health education and lifestyle advice to patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records using agreed Read Codes.

Skills

Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Excellent organisational and leadership skills

Strong knowledge of NHS protocols and primary care processes

Proficiency in clinical systems and Microsoft Office

Education

Registered General Nurse with current NMC Registration
