Practical Instructor in Engineering

Up to £27,185 per annum plus a potential of up to £5k per annum market premium dependent on qualifications, skills and experience

The Role

Working across both the Higher and Further Education Engineering departments to help with supporting and resourcing the teaching staff across all courses within the College’s engineering programmes including maintaining practical equipment and providing practical demonstration and technical instruction to students. You will help with the strategic planning of the development of facilities and develop a robust maintenance schedule for any equipment, whilst working co-operatively as part of a large team.

What we’re looking for

You should have UK Honours degree or ENIC recognised degree in a related discipline a minimum Level 2 qualification English and Maths. You should also have experience of operating a range of relevant equipment, instructing and developing practical forms of delivery in an Engineering context and experience of the latest subject specific technological developments
