A brand communications agency is looking for an experienced freelance PR Account Manager to support a month-long consumer project in January, working on behalf of a major UK retail client.

This is a hands‑on role suited to someone comfortable delivering fast‑paced consumer campaigns across food and potentially fashion.

Key details
  • Contract: Freelance, 1 month (January)
  • Commitment: 4 days per week
  • Location: Hybrid, with 3 days per week in the office in Central London
  • Sector: Consumer PR (food and fashion)
Key responsibilities
  • Day‑to‑day management of consumer PR campaigns
  • Supporting the planning and delivery of integrated consumer activity
  • Media relations across consumer, lifestyle and national titles
  • Drafting press materials, including press releases and briefing documents
  • Managing press enquiries and coordinating media responses
  • Liaising closely with internal agency teams and client stakeholders
  • Ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and to a high standard
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a PR Account Manager within a consumer PR or brand communications agency
  • Strong understanding of UK consumer media
  • Confident working across food and/or fashion campaigns
  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Highly organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple workstreams
  • Able to work in‑office for the majority of the week
