Job summary

Lyreco is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager – Safety to join our Safety Sales team. This field-based role covers the national territory.

You will drive PPE sales, identify opportunities, win new business, manage accounts, and build a robust pipeline. The role requires spending four days a week meeting customers, with up to £45,000 salary plus £16,000 commission and a company car.

Qualifications

• Understanding PPE market and PPE sales experience.
• Proven track record in customer-facing sales.
• Ability to prospect and win new business.
• Experience developing existing customer accounts and identifying growth opportunities.
• Strong commercial awareness with sales, margin and pricing.
• Ability to create and present compelling customer proposals.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prospect new customers to grow our Safety and PPE business.
• Win and implement new PPE accounts across your territory.
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities with Account Managers.
• Develop existing accounts by identifying opportunities to increase PPE spend.
• Achieve agreed sales and margin targets.
• Prepare and present commercially strong quotes and proposals.
• Spend at least four days per week meeting customers face-to-face across your territory.
