REESON Education are recruiting for a qualified SEN PPA Teacher to undertake a 2 term contract starting when schools re-open. This role will be long term supply via our agency. The role will be working in an OFSTED "Outstanding" SEN School located a short walk away from Belsize Park station in the Borough of Camden.

The school boasts excellent resources, supportive SLT and a young and friendly team. They cater to children aged 4 - 11 years with Autism, Severe Learning Difficulties , and communication needs. As a PPA Teacher, you will be covering classes across the school and therefore must be comfortable working with a variety of different SEN needs and across the primary age groups. All children have an EHC plan.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver pre-planned lessons and sensory learning.
  • Work closely with the class teacher to ensure pupils’ needs are met in each lesson.
  • Cover classes across the school and be comfortable with a variety of SEN needs and primary age groups.
  • Demonstrate confident behaviour management and adapt lesson plans to suit the needs of different students.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Minimum of 1 year's UK teaching experience (ideally).
  • Ability to provide contact details for 2 education-based referees.
  • Qualified SEN PPA Teacher with a readiness to work in an SEN setting.
  • Comfortable working with children aged 4 - 11 with Autism, SLD, and communication needs; all pupils have an EHC plan.
