Job summary

A delivery recruitment agency is seeking a Postal/Parcel Delivery Driver in Redditch. The ideal candidate will have a full UK manual driving license and excellent customer service skills. Responsibilities include sorting and delivering mail and parcels, often requiring lifting and outdoor work. This temporary position offers £13.37 per hour, with varied hours and the opportunity for overtime.

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence (maximum 6 points); clean licence preferred.
• Previous delivery or driving experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Excellent time management and customer service skills.
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Start your shift at the local delivery office to sort and load deliveries.
• Use a handheld device for signature capture and route navigation.
• Deliver letters and parcels by foot and/or vehicle.
• Lift and carry mail bags (up to 16kg) and parcels (up to 20kg).
• Use delivery trolleys when required.

Pay Rate: £13.37 per hour

Hours: Between 30 to 40 hours per week

Schedule: Monday to Friday & weekend availability required, Please note that working hours vary by Delivery Office

Overtime: Available
