Job summary

A leading multimedia company located in Greater London seeks a Post Production Engineer to provide essential technical support across various departments, including the Dailies and ADR stages. The position involves managing equipment, ensuring technical standards, and assisting with configuration changes. Ideal candidates will have expertise in Linux Filmlight systems, Avid Protools, and shared media storage. This is an onsite position, with the requirement to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.

  • Willing to work within a shift pattern including evenings and weekends.

Skills

Support for Linux Filmlight Baselight and Daylight systems
Avid Protools support experience

Step into the world of film and television at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, the home of blockbuster creativity. We’re looking for a passionate Post Production Engineer to play a key role in delivering exceptional Dailies services for feature films and TV productions.

Your Role Responsibilities...
  • First line support of all our technical operations
  • Assist with engineering support and configuration changes in both our Dailies and ADR departments
  • Maintain and update all production equipment, both software and hardware
  • Ensure the highest possible technical and security standards are maintained in all areas of the facility
  • Assist with Broadcast monitor and Cinema projector picture calibration
  • Help test, deploy and support our remote Dailies systems while on location
  • Undertake any necessary installation projects required
  • To liaise with operational and managerial staff to ensure the seamless delivery of services.
Qualifications & Experiences
  • Support for Linux Filmlight Baselight and Daylight systems
  • Avid Protools support experience
  • Experience in supporting shared media storage systems i.e. Avid Nexis, DDP, StorNext, GPFS
  • Good working knowledge of current MPAA security standards
  • Demonstrable strong experience of picture monitor, projector technology and calibration
  • Able to perform mix stage audio monitor line-ups
  • Good working knowledge of Linux, Mac OS and computer networking
  • Using and supporting LTO Tape libraries
  • Working knowledge of Video, Audio standards and core infrastructure equipment
  • Able to work within a shift pattern as well as ad hoc timings that may include evenings and weekends.
Onsite Working

This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days (regardless of shift pattern) will be carried out at the place of work. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement, where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
