Responsibilities

  • Processing various polymer materials for potting and encapsulation.
  • Operating polymer processing equipment and handling bulk chemicals.
  • Priming components to ensure optimal adhesion between substrates and polymers.
  • Operating, calibrating, and maintaining laboratory equipment.
  • Ensuring adherence to strict engineering production standards and controls.
  • Completing production documentation in line with ISO9001 requirements.
  • Preparing and assembling moulds.
  • Maintaining high housekeeping standards within the laboratory.
  • Working effectively as part of a team in a production environment.

Skills

About the Role?

As a Polymer Processing Operator, you will play a key role in processing a range of polymer materials used for potting and encapsulation. You will support production activities, maintain quality standards, and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Processing various polymer materials for potting and encapsulation
  • Operating polymer processing equipment and handling bulk chemicals
  • Priming components to ensure optimal adhesion between substrates and polymers
  • Operating, calibrating, and maintaining laboratory equipment

To be successful in this role

You will have previous experience with polymer processing equipment and bulk chemical handling. Combined with the following skills, traits, and experience:
